140. The tiny Jack Russell and the rubber mats with holes and pee tray

Toilet Training Your First Puppy in Singapore

Within a month, this Jack Russell puppy, Female, 4 months old was paper-trained. Crate in balcony. Barricaded area. Outside the crate, rubber mats with holes put on top of newspapers. Newspapers spread onto a pee tray.

As the puppy pees a lot, this method saves changing newspapers as owner works whole day. Therefore, the puppy's feet are dry. Stools are picked up later. Usually poops 2-3 x per day, but pee can be 10X per day for this age.

This is a more economical method than using puppy training pads or adult diapers to absorb the urine. Owner is happy with her method of toilet training as recommended by a friend.
