198. Get toilet training info from the previous owner

Toilet Training Your First Puppy in Singapore

It was hard to toilet train this Shih Tzu. Female, 2 months. She was adopted. She was put in a playpen at the corner of the kitchen. Water bowl on topleft, Bedding cloth on top right. Newspapers on bottom half of the playpen.

Now, 3rd day with the owner. The puppy cried a lot at night. She pooped a lot.

It is best to get info from the previous owner, the routine for this puppy. If not, start all over again the toilet training procedures. Crying a lot for human company is a common complaint. Not all puppies do that. For those crying, there are two methods. One is to ignore the crying, putting on the radio or light. The other is to let the puppy sleep inside the playpen in the bedroom or the owner stays next to the playpen at night.
