Certain dog breeds learn differently from other breeds. Sporting, Herding and Terrier groups are highly motivated, persistent and responsible. Non-sporting and working grups are persistent and receptive to sound but no visual learning. Hounds and toy breeds are visual learners and have high levels of persistence.

In the same beed, no two dogs respond to the same training methods. Some learn by trail and error. Some by error-free learning. Recognising such derrence is important for succesful dog training. Change dog trainers if one trainer has been unsuccessful in training your dog.
