13. Pug in the playpen+newspapers 4 weeks. Not paper-trained

The pug who cannot be paper-trained?


2 pugs. 2 playpens. Balcony of HDB apartment.. Younger one at corner. Older one next to it. Older one paper-trained. Younger one not. Vinegar neutralised floor tiles but still cannot paper-trained. What's the solution?

I suggest removing older pug. Fence up the playpen to give pug bigger balcony area. Open one side of playpen for pug to use as toilet area. Bigger outer area for pug to sleep, drink and eat (clean den). Vinegar:water 1:3 to neutralise urine smell on tiles of balcony.



Will this work? Pug did not learn from older pug as both never met since they bite each other. Older pug is not that old and was bought 3 months earlier than this young one in the picture.

Crate training is possible but the couple is working and seldom at home to effect the crate training method.
